FRCOG’s regional health district, the Cooperative Public Health Service, is once again sponsoring a training for local food service professionals. This comprehensive food safety training includes three important certifications: ServeSafe Food Manager, Choke Saver, and Allergen Awareness.
Space is limited and priority registration until September 28 is for residents and employees of businesses in the towns of Buckland, Charlemont, Gill, Hawley, Heath, Leyden, Monroe, and Rowe. Why these towns? They are all comprehensive members of the health district, meaning they share food safety inspectors, policies, and forms, and have received grant funding from the FDA’s National Voluntary Food Safety Standard program to support these trainings.
From September 29-October 10, residents and businesses in Conway, Deerfield, and Shelburne, also members of the health district, can register. After October 10, if there is room, people from other towns may register.
