FRCOG is assisting the Town of Rowe with an innovative forest climate resiliency and public education project for the Woodlands Partnership of the Northwest Region (formerly Mohawk Trail Woodlands Partnership). The project is funded by a MVP Action Grant; project partners include the towns of Conway, Shelburne and Heath, MassAudubon and the Ohketeau Cultural Center.
Community engagement in forest resiliency projects includes:
- field tours in participating towns
- workshops developed by indigenous ecologists and Tribal historians from the Ohketeau Cultural Center
