FEMA is currently offering FY24 Dam Emergencies Collaborative Technical Assistance (CTA) for municipalities with High Hazard Potential Dams (HHPD). CTA is a series of collaborative sessions with FEMA, local officials and dam owners, aimed at helping communities at risk of dam-related flooding to better understand their risk landscape and the potential consequences of dam-related emergencies. This is an 8-10 month interactive program, with a mix of in-person and virtual planning and working sessions. Goals and objectives are established in the beginning of the process, and CTA is highly flexible and scalable. Applications are due by June 30th, 2023 with communities selected to participate in the FY24 program announced in September/October.

If your community is interested in applying for this competitive opportunity, please follow this link (applications only take about 10 minutes to complete).
