In celebration of Bay State Bike Week, the Franklin Regional Council of Governments (FRCOG) will again host a breakfast for bicycle commuters and bicyclists on Tuesday, May 14th, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the John W. Olver Transit Center located at 12 Olive Street in Greenfield. There will be coffee, juice, light breakfast fare, and a giveaway of bicycling accessories. The event is an opportunity to meet other bicyclists and share thoughts on bicycling. The FRCOG will also be featuring information about bicycling and projects that they are working on in the region. Copies of the Franklin County Bike maps will be available. The Franklin Regional Transit Authority (FRTA) will also have a bus that is equipped with a bicycle carrying rack available to try loading and unloading.
