Please join us remotely for a presentation on the FRCOG’s COVID-19 After-Action Report and Improvement Plan (AAR/IP) recommendations for how our region should prepare for and respond to public health emergencies. The recommendations from the COVID-19 AAR/IP were accepted by the FRCOG council during their January 2023 committee meeting.
Some of the key recommendations from the COVID-19 AAR/IP include:
- Rename the public health preparedness coalition from Mohawk Area Public Health Coalition to Franklin County Public Health Preparedness Coalition
- Restructure the oversight committee for the PHEP coalition to align with public health districts
- Maintain a single pool of emergency dispensing site volunteers
- Create a regional emergency dispensing site plan
We will also review next year’s MA Department of Public Health’s Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) grant funding allocation for the region and our annual concurrence vote regarding the process.
