Municipal Reimbursement for COVID Expenses – What’s eligible? What program is best? Is it worth it?
An information session for small towns.
Thursday, September 10, 2020. 1-2:30pm.
The Rural Policy Advisory Commission (RPAC), Small Town Administrators of Massachusetts (STAM), and the Franklin Regional Council of Governments (FRCOG) invite you to a session with Heath Fahle, Special Director for Federal Funds in the Executive Office of Administration and Finance, and Sean Cronin, Director of Local Services at the Department of Revenue. Heath and Sean will review the many different funding programs that can be accessed to recoup expenses related to municipal COVID response (CARES, FEMA, DPH, etc.), expenses that are eligible now and how eligible expenses are changing, which program is best for various expenses, and how to seek reimbursement. This session will be specifically devoted to the needs, issues and capacity constraints of small towns.
