Franklin Regional Council of Governments seeks highly professional, skilled, organized individual to serve as the primary point of contact between the online permitting software developers, inspection staff and online permitting users in the fifteen towns served by the Franklin County Cooperative Inspection Program (FCCIP).  This position provides technical assistance to staff, local officials, contractors, homeowners and other users who are experiencing difficulties with the permitting software program; provides assistance to the Building Commissioner in all areas of zoning review; and provides general administrative assistance in support of the FCCIP.

The right person possesses excellent customer service, administrative and computer skills, has experience reading, researching and understanding Massachusetts General Laws and regulations, can juggle competing deadlines and handle fast-paced, task-based activity.  Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.  Experience using and maintaining PermitEyes or a similar online permitting software is a plus.  Willing to train.

A relevant college degree and three to five years of office and computer software experience are preferred, but equivalent combinations of education and work experience will be considered.  Salary commensurate with experience.  Full Time (37.5 hrs) salaried position with good benefits and paid time off.
