Our Emergency Preparedness Planners reached out to municipal Emergency Management Directors on June 17th to inquire about any cooling centers scheduled to open in the coming days during the anticipated heat wave this week.  As we learn of available cooling centers within the County, we will post them below.

To add your community’s cooling center(s) to the list, please contact Dan Nietsche, Emergency Preparedness Planner, at [email protected]

In addition to the information about cooling centers listed below from Franklin County’s Emergency Management Directors, another source of cooling center locations has been made available through Senator Jo Comerford’s office. That information can be viewed by clicking on this LINK.
