National and state models are guiding the work of analyzing needs and setting regional priorities for our changing communities. FRCOG staff worked with Life Path to conduct a regional needs assessment for older adults in Franklin County and the North Quabbin region. The final report on this survey was issued in fall 2022, and communities discussed the findings from their towns, and how to act on its recommendations.
Based on the survey data and community conversations, LifePath and FRCOG developed the Age- and Dementia-Friendly Franklin County and North Quabbin Regional Action Plan 2024-2028. The plan outlines the rationale, action steps, measurements of success, and timeframes for each goal addressed; goals are organized by AARP livability domains.
